Featuring the high-performance - USB Asynchronous 24 bit / 96k ES SABRE ES9006 Reference Digital Audio Converter (DAC) the 80i provides connection and control of multiple Digital and Analog audio Input sources including Unbalanced Analog Line Inputs 3 (RCA), USB, Optical 2 (Toslink) Digital and Coaxial (SPDIF) Digital Inputs. Unbalanced Preamp (RCA) and Unbalanced line (RCA) Outputs are provided for connection to additional audio power amplifiers such as the PERREAUX 100p , 350 or 750 power amplifiers for multiple speaker systems and external High Fidelity audio equipment. Additional features include an integrated, class-leading PERREAUX Moving Magnet Phono Module for Turntable connection, elegant backlit Touch Panel control, Serial and full-function IR Remote Control and Home Theatre bypass function for connection to Home Theatre Surround Sound Systems. Now in its tenth year of production the fully-featured 80i incorporates the precision ES SABRE ES9006 Reference Digital Audio Converter (DAC), PERREAUX Moving Magnet (MM) Phono Preamplifier Module with Earthing Terminal for Turntable connection, Line-level Analog (RCA) Inputs, Home Theatre Bypass, Preamp and Line Level Outputs, Serial and Full-function IR Remote Control and Backlit Touch Panel Controller.

Remote Control

The PERREAUX 80i Stereo Integrated Amplifier includes a full-function IR Remote Control handset and onboard Serial (RS232) connectivity for integration with popular Home Automation systems including Crestron™ and AMX™.

Touch Panel Interface

The 80i features a unique, dimmable, front-panel, touch-sensitive controller. This feature allows the user to switch the unit in and out of standby or select the desired audio input source.

Transformer coupled Digital Input

The 80i features a transformer-coupled Coaxial (SPDIF) Digital input providing electrical isolation and improved jitter performance for Coaxial Digital audio sources.

Inputs

The 80i features three pairs of analog Line Inputs (RCA) A Home Theatre Bypass input to Integrate the 80i into your Home Theatre system using the selectable Home Theatre (HT) input loop. This function allows the 80i to receive signal and provide power to the main L/R loudspeakers as a component of a Surround Sound System. The 80i additionally features 2 x Optical (Toslink) and 1 Coaxial (SPDIF) Digital inputs for the connection of Digital Set top boxes, TV, CD Players, Music Streamers or Games consoles. The 80i also incorporates a PERREAUX Moving Magnet (MM) Phono Input pair for simple Turntable connection.

Control iTunes and Windows Media Player via USB

When using the USB input, the 80i remote can control iTunes or similar music applications, such as Windows Media Player.

Integrated Phono Module

The 80i incorporates a class leading PERREAUX Moving Magnet (MM) phono input with Earthing Terminal for simple Turntable connection.

Class-AB amplifier

The Class-AB amplifier output stage allows environment friendly energy requirements without compromising sound quality.

Upsampling Digital to Analogue Converter
